It is stated in the Decree of the Chancellor of Pancasila University Number 878\/Kep.R\/1997 regarding the change in the name of the Pancasila Philosophy Laboratory to the Pancasila Study Center and the Establishment of the Pancasila Study Center Organization.<\/p>

The Institute for the Implementation of Pancasila Ideology has the task of assisting the Chancellor in formulating the policy direction for instilling Pancasila values, carrying out coordination, synchronization, and control of the instillation of Pancasila values in a comprehensive and sustainable manner, and implementing the preparation of education and training standards, organizing education and training.<\/p>

The Purpose of the Pancasila Ideology Implementation Institution<\/span>\u00a0is to understand, introduce and hopefully in the future strengthen the implementation of Pancasila which is truly based on reasoning.<\/span><\/p>

The Institute for the Implementation of Pancasila Ideology (LPIP) believes that Pancasila is the foundation of the state and the nation's way of life. Thus, the study of the implementation of Pancasila in the life of society, nation and state becomes important. For the Institute for the Implementation of Pancasila Ideology (LPIP), there are several important reasons for the study of Pancasila, namely: first, Pancasila is a systematic value that requires its application in everyday life. Second, the implementation of Pancasila can be done in various ways, namely through education, research and community service. Third, the contents of Pancasila that are internalized and instilled in society can be used to establish a national identity. Fourth, the instillation of Pancasila values requires the role of structure and organization. On that basis, the Institute for the Implementation of Pancasila Ideology (LPIP) based on the Vision of Pancasila University, namely "Becoming an Excellent and Leading University Based on the Noble Values of Pancasila", has the responsibility to "study, formulate and implement the policy direction for instilling Pancasila values comprehensively and sustainably" The Pancasila Study Center (PSP-UP) has a great ideal as a "Container of National Ideology Science" namely "Becoming an Excellent, Innovative and Leading institution in developing the study and cultivation of Pancasila values"<\/p>

Main Duties and Functions<\/b><\/p>

  • Formulation of policy directions for planting Pancasila values;<\/li>
  • Preparation of a road map for planting Pancasila values;<\/li>
  • Preparation and implementation of a work plan and program of Pancasila values;<\/li>
  • Coordination, synchronization and control of the implementation of Pancasila values planting;<\/li>
  • Implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and proposing steps and strategies to expedite the implementation of the planting of Pancasila values;<\/li>
  • Implementation of socialization and cooperation as well as relations with high state institutions, ministries\/agencies, regional governments, socio-political organizations, and other components of society in the implementation of planting Pancasila values;<\/li>
  • Assessment of Pancasila learning materials and methodologies;<\/li>
  • Compilation of standardization of Pancasila Education and training and organizing training; and<\/li>
  • Formulating and submitting policy recommendations or regulations that are contrary to the values of Pancasila;<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This activity was held in Building C Room 203, Mercubuana University, Meruya Campus.     On October 27, 2016, the Institute for the Implementation of Pancasila Ideology of Pancasila University in collaboration with the Center for Studies of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR - RI) held an Expert Meeting with the theme "Pancasila as the Nation's Philosophy of Life and the Foundation of Scientific Philosophy with a Focus on the Study of Aspects of Ontology, Epistemology and Axiology of Pancasila" The activity was held at the Hotel Santika Premiere Slipi Jakarta.       The Pancasila Ideology Implementation Institute created the Pancasila Index Instrument formulated by experts. The Pancasila Index Instrument can be used to measure the implementation of Pancasila values for institutions, communities, and individuals.
