Chairman of the Trustees of the Pancasila University Education and Development Foundation (YPPUP) Dr. (HC). Ir. Siswono Yudo Husodo stated that at the age of 57, Pancasila University had contributed to the progress of the Indonesian nation.
"Pancasila University has graduated 72,191 graduates spread across various regions and working in various fields of science according to their respective expertise," said Siswono Yudohusodo in his welcoming speech at the UP Jakarta Multipurpose Room, Monday 30 October 2023.
Siswono said further "The achievements obtained by each chancellor in leading UP are something to be proud of, implementing the Merit system is the most appropriate thing because it is based on a person's integrity and abilities,"
He said that all university leaders must be able to keep up with current developments so as not to be left behind in global competition. Of course, all leaders in UP are committed to improving good management in the field of human resources, ensuring sustainable regeneration and following advances in information technology, all of which needs to be balanced with the Pancasila character.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Edie Toet Hendratno said that at the age of 57, UP had succeeded in experiencing various advances such as: UP had been accredited as superior, as well as several study programs, opened four new study programs, and achieved 2,522 new students in the 2023/2024 academic year, there were additional 4 professors, as well as the implementation of the ICT master plan which is targeted for completion in 2024.
At this 57th anniversary celebration, representatives from LLDikti 3 Jakarta Region, partners, and as guests of honor were the families of the founders and national heroes, namely the family of TNI Major General (Ret.) Dr. (HC) Abdul Haris Nasution, Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Awaludin Djamin, Drs., MPA, Honorary General of the Indonesian National Army (HOR) (Ret.) Achmad Tahir and Second Lieutenant (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Soebroto, MA
As a thanksgiving, UP also invited 59 MSMEs to participate in the MSME festival, where all academics who attended received shopping vouchers at the festival. The entire academic community of Pancasila University today commemorates its 57th anniversary by maintaining its commitment to make the nation's life intelligent through high quality and competitive education so as to produce superior human resources with a Pancasila character.
