Pancasila University Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM UP) through the Pancasila University Intellectual Property Center held the 3rd Workshop on KI Centers with the theme of "Conscious Commercialization Towards Entrepreneur University", this is the 3rd of the 5 agenda workshop series planned. This activity is a follow-up to the receipt of the KI Sentra Incentive Program from the Directorate of Intellectual Property Management, Directorate General of Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. Thursday, (08/08) at the Engineering Faculty Hall, 4th Floor, Srengseng Sawah Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.
Present at this activity the Chancellor of UP Prof. Dr. Wahono Sumaryono, Apt. Head of LPPM UP Dra. Hj. Dewi Trirahayu, MM. Head of KI UP Center Dr. Ir. Joko Sulistyono, M.Eng., SH., MH. and Lecturers in the UP Campus environment. This activity was facilitated by 3 (three) resource persons including Drs. Adim Hadi, MM Head of the Technology Service Contract Division of the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) who delivered material regarding recognizing the community's need for intellectual property, whether copyrights, patents or industrial designs. Ir. Moh. Hamdani, M.Eng. from the BPPT Technology Incubator Center delivered a case study regarding the selection of IP for commercialization purposes, IP that failed and IC that succeeded in the commercialization process (in collaboration with business people, local governments, etc.). and the last one is R. Rizky A. Adiwilaga, SH. Senior Partner and Founder of Adiwilaga & co. who convey material regarding steps that need to be considered in the commercialization of IP in cooperation with third parties (joint implementation, spin-off, etc.).
