The Institute for Research and Community Service at Pancasila University (LPPM-UP) signed a research and community service contract for internal grants at Pancasila University in the Aristotle room at the Law Faculty of Pancasila University on Wednesday, May 17 2023.
This event was attended by the Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, SH, M.Sc. FCBARb. Deputy Chancellors I and II, Deans of Faculties, SPS Directors, and Heads of Research and Community Service Units in Faculties and Graduate Schools.
Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service at Pancasila University (LPPM-UP) Irfan Ihsani, ST., MSc, expressed his gratitude to the Chancellor for his attention and support for research and community service activities. The support from the Chancellor and faculty/graduate school leaders is expected to be an encouragement for lecturers to continue working and innovating in the field of research and community service.Â
The university's internal grants funded this year included 31 research titles with a total fund of Rp. 1,477,000,000, - an increase of 1 title from the previous 30 titles. Meanwhile, for the community service sector, there are 13 titles with a fund of Rp. 200 million, an increase of 3 titles from the previous 10 titles.Â
In addition, it was also conveyed regarding research proposals and community service at Pancasila University which took part in the BIMA External Grant selection with funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture in March 2023. The number of proposals that registered to take part in the grant program was 61 titles, but only 53 titles completed and uploaded their proposals, consisting of of 46 research proposals and 7 community service proposals.Â
Chancellor of Pancasila University Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, SH, M.Sc. FCBARb. in his remarks conveyed messages and directions to the Institute for Research and Community Service at Pancasila University to be more aggressive and harder in trying to increase lecturer participation in participating in the selection of research proposals and community service with external funding, and the activities carried out must involve students. On this occasion, the Chancellor will form a Research Task Force Team which is directly chaired by the Chancellor which aims to accelerate the improvement of the quality and quantity of research at Pancasila University.
The event ended with the signing of the Pancasila University internal grant contract for 2023, beginning with the signing between the Chancellor and the Head of LPPM-UP, then followed by the signing with the Chief Researcher and the Deans/Directors of the Postgraduate School.Â
