Institute for Education Improvement and Development (LP3), Academic Division of the Pancasila University Rectorate, Office of Quality Assurance (KJM) together with the Pancasila Study Center (PSP) carry out the Development of a Project-Based Compulsory Subject Learning Model in the Higher Education Curriculum (MKWK) which has the following objectives: 1) To improve students' ability in solving project problems; and 2) To acquire new knowledge and skills in learning carried out in workshop activities.
In the workshop, the Head of LP3 (Dr. Nurmala Ahmar) invited Dr. Drs. Arqom Kuswanjono, M.Hum is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy, Gadjah Mada University and Chair of the Institutional Association and Lecturer of All Indonesian Compulsory Curriculum Courses (AKD MKWK). Dr. Arqom Kuswanjono explained the Benefits of the Project-Based Compulsory Course Learning Model Development Workhop for lecturers to improve students' skills in problem solving, to improve collaboration skills, to act as a facilitator or companion in learning, to improve students' thinking skills to think critically and Student reflection helps students develop more complex problem-solving skills and makes students more engaged and motivated in learning.
.In addition to the benefits for lecturers and students, Dr. Drs. Arqom Kuswanjono also explained the benefits for Pancasila University Higher Education, namely "can increase the capacity/ability of the MKWK Academic implementing unit in Higher Education, especially at Pancasila University in managing innovative and project-based MKWK learning so as to improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes; and implementing units are able to understand and implement the MKWK material which is a textual and contextual value requirement through active and meaningful learning experiences in the form of concrete actions to solve societal, national and state problems."
