Pancasila University, through the Directorate of Cooperation and Institutional Relations, held a Technical Guidance activity entitled "Developing Pancasila University's Strategy and Readiness Towards QS-Ranking" which took place in the Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Pancasila University. This event demonstrates Pancasila University's commitment to improving its competitiveness at the national and international levels. The QS World University Rankings (QS-Ranking) has become a recognized global standard for measuring the quality of higher education and serves as a key reference for prospective students, academics, educational institutions, and the government.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. Arissetyanto Nugroho, MM, IPU., CMA., MSS., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, said, "The QS World University Rankings is one of the global indicators that assess the quality of higher education worldwide. This ranking is a very important benchmark in determining the image and reputation of a university. Therefore, to be able to compete internationally, Pancasila University must continue to innovate, improve the quality of teaching, research, and institutional management."
This activity aims to equip participants with an understanding of the preparation of concrete steps in preparation for the global ranking process. The main speaker, Prof. Dr. Asrul Akmal Shafie, former Director of the Institutional Planning & Strategic Center at Universiti Sains Malaysia, who has experience in developing institutional strategies towards international rankings, emphasized the importance of synergy between all university units, as well as the use of valid data and documentation to support the assessment criteria.
