On April 6-8 2021, LSP-UP in collaboration with BNSP has held Refreshment and RCC activities in the 4th floor Hall of the UP Faculty of Economics & Business and was attended by 20 UP lecturers. The activity was opened by Vice Chancellor I UP, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Sri Widyastuti, SE, MM, M.Si along with staff and attended by all LSP-UP management led by Ms. Dra. Andiani, M. Kom.
Refreshment and RCC activities are carried out by LSP-UP after obtaining permission and approval from BNSP. In this case, LSP-UP submits a request for Refreshment and RCC implementation, then BNSP will send a Master Assessor as a resource person and examiner. There were 2 Master Assessors assigned by BNSP to this activity, namely Ms. Meylina Djafar and Ms. Lenny Brida.
One of the requirements that must be met by the Pancasila University Professional Certification Institute (LSP-UP) in carrying out competency tests for UP students is the presence of competency assessors who have competency certificates from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). The certificate is given to an assessor if he is declared to have passed the training and competency tests held by BNSP. However, competency certificates are not valid all the time because BNSP determines the active period of the certificate for a certain period.
A number of UP lecturers already have competency certificates, but some of them have expired. In order to extend the validity period of the certificate, an assessor must take part in Refreshment and Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) activities or Refreshment and Extension of Competency Assessor Certificates.
After receiving theory and training from the Master Assessor, all RCC participants took a competency test to ensure participants had mastered the three materials that had been provided. Participants are declared competent if they are able to answer all the Master Assessor's questions and are able to make competency test kits properly and according to the requirements.
