NATIONAL DISCUSSION ON THE THREAT OF DRUGS IN CAMPUS

The Pancasila University Alumni Family (KAUP) together with Pancasila University entered into a Cooperation Agreement with the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) at the National Discussion on Drug Threats in the Campus Environment which took place in the Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Pancasila University, Friday (17/1).

The Cooperation Agreement was signed by BNN Deputy for Community Empowerment, Dunan Ismail Isja. In the Agreement both parties agreed to cooperate in the scope of strengthening, developing, fostering and increasing the capacity of anti-drug activists who were formed within Pancasila University.

Another thing that was agreed upon was an effort to detect early drug abuse within Pancasila University through a urine test. This activity also inaugurated the Pancasila University Drug Abuse Consultation Institute.

The signing of the Cooperation Agreement also inaugurated the members of the Anti-Drug Task Force which consisted of students, civitas and academics of Pancasila University. On this occasion, all members of the task force read out a declaration containing the rejection and prevention of various drugs within Pancasila University.

This activity also presented a National Discussion which was attended by the Deputy Chief of the Republic of Indonesia Police, Gatot Eddy Pramono, and General TNI (Purn) H. Agum Gumelar, who is also the Chair of the Supervisor of the Pancasila University Education Foundation and Trustees.
