The Pancasila University Psychology Study Program has been held since 2006. The establishment of this faculty was initiated by Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, SH., M.Si as Chancellor of Pancasila University at that time, Dr. Silverius Y. Soeharso, SE., MM., Psi who later became the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UP and Prof.Dr. Sarlito W. Sarwono as professor of Psychology. The establishment of the Psychology Study Program is a response to the community's need for quality psychology professional services with national and international standards in consolidating its role in the industrial, government, community and education sectors in Indonesia. The Faculty of Psychology at Pancasila University is a psychology faculty in Indonesia which has developed a business psychology curriculum since 2012, the curriculum integrates a number of scientific fields including industrial and organizational psychology, business, economics and management.
Students are not educated to understand human nature, but are provided with a variety of knowledge about the business processes of an organization. The Faculty of Psychology at Pancasila University was established on June 7 2006 with Operational Permit Decree no 1884/D/T/2006 dated June 7 2006 and is under the auspices of the Pancasila University Education Foundation.
Currently, the Faculty of Psychology has one undergraduate study program (S1). The accreditation status of the Faculty of Psychology is Accredited "A" in accordance with the Decree of BAN PT Number 4616/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/XI/2019 which is valid until November 20, 2024. In realizing effective and efficient educational institutions and academic management and civitas in the Faculty of Psychology UP implements Good Faculty Governance. In simple terms, it can be interpreted as a spirit of clean, healthy, transparent, accountable, responsible, independent, honest and fair faculty management in an effort to create academic excellence and organizational performance that grows and develops sustainably.
