Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) AT-TAQWA Pancasila University Mosque held the Eid al-Adha 1440 H together at the Pancasila University AT-TAQWA Mosque at 07.00 WIB (11/08/2019) and was attended by more than 700 worshipers, acting as Khatib Deputy Chancellor III of UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Masri Mansoer and Imam Salat Ust. Syamsul Ghazali, SH with the theme "Prophet Abraham AS. as a Consistent, Transparent and High Integrity Fighter for Truth”.
The Slaughter of Sacrificial Animals on this year's Eid al-Adha 1440 H was attended by the Chancellor of Pancasila University Prof. Dr. Wahono Sumaryono, Apt. who gave a speech as well as Vice Chancellor for Student and Alumni Affairs Drs. Agus Purwanggana, M.Si., Apt.
In implementing the distribution of sacrificial animals, Pancasila University consistently strives to reduce plastic waste by distributing Qurban meat using Cassaplast Bioplastics as a substitute for plastic containers during the Eid al-Adha 1440 H activity at the Pancasila University AT-TAQWA mosque (12/08/2019)
Cassaplast Bioplastics is made from cassava extract with a composition of 98% cassava starch, 1% vegetable oil and 1% biopolymer. Cassaplast Bioplastics looks like plastic but with very different characteristics, namely, it dissolves easily in hot water, is burned to ashes, can handle heat much better, and is compostable and can be consumed by the micro-organisms that live in our soils.
