Ganjar's Inspiration: Becoming a Tough and Globally Competitive Pancasila Generation.

Preparation for facing global competition in the Era of Society 5.0 has become a priority in various sectors, including the education sector as an institution that produces scholars. Dr. (HC.) Ir. Siswono Yudo Husodo, Chairperson of the Pancasila University Educational Foundation and Trustees of Pancasila University (YPPUP) said that Pancasila University (UP) certainly does not only build a quality curriculum but also through its Professors, lecturers and education staff will continue to build an academic climate that encourages students to develop and do good. best for the nation, society, family and also himself. 

"Through the 56th Anniversary & Even Semester Graduation for the 2021/2022 Academic Year, UP invited Ganjar Pranowo, Governor of Central Java to give a scientific oration that can inspire graduates who currently number 1,612 graduates from both D3/S1/S2/S3 programs and the Pharmacist." said Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, SH., M.Sc., FCBArb., Chancellor of Pancasila University. It was said further, with "Bringing the theme of the Role of the Young Generation in Facing Competition in the Global Arrangement of G-20 Countries, Pancasila University (UP) intends to give awareness to graduates that technological developments and global development have thinned boundaries between countries so that industrial competition and the workforce is increasingly open and tighter. In the context of global competition, UP has prepared, among other things, with several achievements, including obtaining: MBKM Curriculum Implementation grant, Center of Excellence Study Program grant, Digital Module Innovation grant, Kedaireka Matching Fund grant, Merdeka Batch 2 Student Exchange Program in 2022 , inbound at Pancasila University, various student achievements and UP is also the only tertiary institution that produces 8 professors during 2022.” 

"Quoting Bung Karno, namely that an Independent and Sovereign nation needs and absolutely has 3 things: sovereign in the political field, independent in the economy, and personality in culture, Ganjar Pranowo stressed that it is still very relevant "Bung Karno's Trisakti concept" is applied by the Indonesian Nation in the face of global geopolitical uncertainties today. In an increasingly changing global condition, graduates must quickly adapt to the various challenges ahead. The challenges of the world of work continue to increase, so competence must be continuously improved, as young people who are creative and have high motivation. Young people must stick to the spirit of nationalism based on Pancasila values, so that if you enter a company that has wrong rules, you have the courage to refuse and still have the principle of nationalism for yourself. Apart from that, as an advanced young generation, never forget to thank the parents who have given so much of the best to their children.”

Ganjar further said that "Knowledge must be the driving force in all sectors of national life, therefore the role of universities is very important in preparing graduates to be able to compete. There are several things that need to be considered, the first is related to readiness, the second must be creative and the third must have innovations that are competitive and beneficial to society. Universities certainly need to continue to improve community service and have a prominent leading sector, for example Pancasila University can excel in the taxation sector which is the main source of state revenue, of course it will greatly support the government in achieving its work program.

"I believe UP has facilitated teaching staff, lecturers, facilities and maintained the quality of education so that it is always of high quality and builds good communication with various parties so that a good and superior educational culture climate is built. UP, which just had its 56th birthday on October 28, 2022, which coincided with Youth Pledge Day and my birthday, became a very interesting place for me to visit, moreover UP has also graduated 70 thousand alumni spread across various fields of work, an extensive alumni network and complete facilities, all of which show that UP has a major role in instilling Pancasila ideological values in students. Therefore you can't just be mediocre scholars, you have to be extraordinary and Pancasila. In closing, Ganjar advised all graduates not to give up under any circumstances, if you fall 1 time, get up 2 times, if you fall 1,000 times, get up 10,000 times.
