Jakarta, 17 June 2024 / 10 Dzulhijjah 1445 H – Muslims at Pancasila University celebrate Eid al-Adha solemnly at the At-Taqwa Mosque, Pancasila University. The event which was held under the theme "The Wisdom of Sacrificial Worship in Realizing the Totality of Obedience and Social Solidarity" invited deep reflection on the values of worship and social solidarity.
The Eid al-Adha prayer was led by Ustaz M. Robi'ul Yatim, SE., SS., MM., who also acted as Khotib in the Eid al-Adha sermon. Ustaz Robi'ul Yatim gave a lecture that inspired the congregation to understand the true meaning of sacrifice, not only as a ritual obligation, but also as a reminder of commitment in obedience to Allah and solidarity with others.
This activity was also attended by the academic community and students of Pancasila University, who united their determination to apply the good values taught in the sacrificial service into everyday life. Togetherness in this holy moment provides inspiration for all people to contribute more in building a better society.
In his sermon, Ustaz Robi'ul Yatim emphasized the importance of maintaining the values of obedience and social solidarity, which are the essence of sacrificial worship. He invited all the congregation to reflect on how sacrifice can be a bridge to increase concern for people in need, and build togetherness in a harmonious social life.
Through this activity, it is hoped that the entire academic community can better understand and practice the meaning of faith and obedience in daily life, as well as increase the sense of caring and togetherness within the campus environment and the wider community.
