JAKARTA, 12 DECEMBER 2023 – Today, Pancasila University inaugurated six Professors in an inauguration ceremony held at the Pancasila University Multipurpose Building. Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, SH., M.Sc., FCBArb. explained that "The six newly appointed Professors have extraordinary contributions in their respective scientific fields and have undergone a strict selection process in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Culture."
Furthermore, the Chancellor explained that "UP succeeded in maintaining its Superior Accreditation on December 5 2023. This decision is stated in the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology No. 66/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/PT/I/2023, which is valid until 20 December 2028. The title of Superior accreditation and also the inauguration of professors reflect Pancasila University's (UP) commitment to the quality of higher education in Indonesia and resource development superior human beings and improving the quality of research in various scientific disciplines."
Head Regional Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti) Region 3, Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc. also expressed appreciation to UP for the impressive achievements of scientific dedication and extraordinary contributions that have enabled UP to maintain superior accreditation. This is a sign that the quality of UP education has been recognized and UP has become one of the campuses with the most professors in DKI Jakarta.
According to Prof. Toni, "The presence of professors is very crucial because they are the main drivers in research and scientific development. "Professors are selected people who we hope can provide direction and vision in scientific development, as well as being examples who can inspire lecturers and students in living their academic life."
"Professor is not just an ordinary position, but also a historical calling to continue learning, teaching and innovating, as well as being present in forming the character, morals and ethics of future generations. A professor must also continue to network to develop his knowledge and contribute to solving the nation's problems. The more professors there are, the greater the potential to contribute to society and the progress of the country." Prof. Toni explained in closing his remarks.
