Pancasila University officially inaugurated its rector and several structural officials. The inauguration ceremony took place in the At-Taqwa Mosque Hall, Pancasila University, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
In the event, Prof. Dr. Adnan Hamid, SH, MH, MM was inaugurated as the Chancellor of Pancasila University for the 2025-2028 period. The inauguration procession was led by the Chairperson of the Pancasila University Education and Supervisory Foundation (YPPUP) Mr. Dr. (HC) Ir. Siswono Yudho Husodo along with other YPPUP officials and attended by members of the University Senate, Professors, student representatives, as well as invited guests from various institutional partners and colleagues of the inaugurated officials.
In addition to the inauguration of the Rector, the Vice Deans and Heads of Institutions within the University were also inaugurated. This ceremony marked a crucial milestone in the leadership transition and the realization of Pancasila University's new vision to become a leading, globally competitive campus.
In his remarks, the UP Chancellor expressed his commitment to continuously improve the quality of Governance, Education and Teaching, Research and Community Service of the UP academic community that "Has an Impact" on the Community as per the program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Quality improvement can be achieved if UP focuses and pays attention to three main areas. First, improving the quality of education and strengthening research through enhanced collaboration. Second, improving services and governance in line with Good University Government. Third, developing student character in accordance with the values of Pancasila.Â
"This inauguration is not just about changing positions, but also a commitment to take Pancasila University further in responding to the challenges of the times and improving UP's reputation at the national and international levels," said the Chair of the YPPUP Advisory Board.
With this new leadership, Pancasila University must be able to strengthen its strategic role as a higher education institution that produces superior, character-based graduates and makes a real contribution to national development.
