PKKMB UP 2020

Pancasila University (UP) continues to strive to create superior and highly competitive human resources/graduates as well as Adaptive, Productive, Innovative and Contributive in accordance with the theme of Introduction to New Student Campus Life (PKKMB) 2020.

These advantages can be obtained if existing human resources have the right knowledge, technology, skills and work ethic. This is what Pancasila University has built since it was founded on October 28, 1966, and until now it continues to try to improve its quality.

Resilience and the ability to adapt to change is one of the qualities that UP graduates need to have and this is what UP wants to exemplify by holding the UP 2020 PKKMB activities online for the first time, on Monday-Friday September 14-18 2020 as a form of adaptation new habits that occur due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In this implementation, UP collaborates with a team of professionals who have a lot of experience and are also supported by adequate technology to carry out online activities, of course by complying with health protocol standards and also competent human resources in their fields. This is also a form of Higher Education's openness in collaborating with various industrial fields.

The new students are essentially campus residents who will begin to live academic and student life. Through Introduction to Campus Life, new UP students will be introduced to the higher education system and the future paradigm of higher education. Besides that, student organizations at UP were also introduced to support them to be able to socialize and also organize through non-academic activities, besides that this program is also intended to create harmonious intimacy between new students and old students and with all campus residents.

UP Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Wahono Sumaryono, Apt. said that there were changes that occurred rapidly on a global scale due to the Covid-19 pandemic, forcing all of us to form new behaviors, adapt our living habits to various conditions that are currently being experienced in almost all parts of the world and ultimately change the way we live. Change is certainly not an easy thing, but speed of adaptation is needed to be able to participate in global competition. UP also continues to adapt by carrying out almost every activity online, such as: new student admission exams, lectures, thesis trials and conducting seminars online so that the academic climate can be maintained.

For the 2020/2021 Academic Year, UP has accepted 2,301 new students for both the Diploma (D3), Undergraduate (S1), Pharmacist Profession, Masters (S2) and Doctoral Programs (S3), this number will continue to grow, considering New student registration is still open until the end of September 2020.
