Psychocare 2025: A Real-Life Impact of Diktisaintek on the Nation's Children in Sukaresmi Village, Bogor Regency

Bogor, August 14, 2025 – The Student Senate of the Faculty of Psychology, Pancasila University for the 2024–2025 period will hold Psychocare 2025 with the theme HOPE (Safe Living and Caring for the Nation's Children) on August 9–16, 2025 in Sukaresmi Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Psychocare 2025 is an implementation of the DIKTISAINTEK BERDAMPAK program launched by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, which encourages universities to present knowledge and technology-based solutions that provide direct benefits to society.

As a concrete manifestation of this program, Sukaresmi Village was chosen as the location for the activity because it still faces challenges in the distribution and quality of education. Some children have not yet mastered basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, while some parents lack an understanding of parenting styles that support children's academic and emotional development. Limited learning facilities and minimal home guidance make educational and psychoeducational interventions in this village a strategic step.

The event was attended by the Sukaresmi Village Head and his staff, the Sukaresmi Menteng Elementary School community, the academic community of the Faculty of Psychology at Pancasila University, and the Sukaresmi community. The event opened with remarks from:

  • Mrs. Robbi Trisnani, S.Pd – Principal of Menteng Elementary School, Sukaresmi Village
  • Mr. Yaya Sunarya, SE – Head of Sukaresmi Village
  • Prof. Dr. Awaluddin Tjalla, M.Pd – Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Pancasila University

Psychocare 2025 focuses on improving the quality of children's education and strengthening positive parenting patterns for parents, with an interdisciplinary approach that combines educational psychology, learning technology, and modern psychoeducational methods.

The series of activities includes:

  • Interactive teaching for elementary school students includes Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Indonesian, English, as well as basic literacy and numeracy with innovative learning methods.
  • Psychoeducation for parents and teachers regarding parenting patterns, learning styles, gadget use, and prevention of promiscuity, was delivered by lecturers from the Faculty of Psychology, Pancasila University, using research-based materials.
  • Non-academic activities such as group exercise, children's and mothers' competitions, spiritual development, and distribution of basic necessities to support community welfare.

The implementation of this activity is supported by various parties, including:

  • Head of the Al-Qur'an Printing Unit, Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance, Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia
  • Head of Language Agency
  • Head of the Center for Books, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education
  • Director General of Early Childhood Education, Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education
  • As well as support from lecturers and parents of students of the Faculty of Psychology, Pancasila University

Through Psychocare 2025, the Faculty of Psychology at Pancasila University not only implements the Tri Dharma of Higher Education but also embodies the spirit of DIKTISAINTEK BERDAMPAK: providing inclusive, science-based education with real impact on society. This activity is expected to serve as an example of collaboration between universities, local governments, and the community in building a better future for Indonesian children.
