Jakarta – The Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, IPU. together with the academic community of Pancasila University held a Ceremony to Commemorate the Seconds of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at the Pancasila University Field, Saturday, (08/17/2024).
In his speech, Prof. Marsudi as the Inspector of the Ceremony said that the Indonesian nation aspires to become a great nation that is independent, united, sovereign, just and prosperous.
"However, this ideal, from the beginning of independence until now, has not been free from various obstacles and disturbances both from within and outside," he said.Â
Prof. Marsudi said that the heroes used to fight with weapons and sharpened bamboo to fight for the independence of the Republic of Indonesia from the colonialists at that time.Â
"Now our task is to fight with science and technology. Only by mastering science and technology, independence will truly become a golden bridge to an advanced, sovereign, just and prosperous Indonesia," he said.Â
Prof. Marsudi hopes that this momentum will be used as an effort to continue to foster and ground the values of nationalism and patriotism to continue to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Let us revive nationalism and patriotism to fight the destroyers of hope who are trying to hijack the future of the nation. Never tire of loving Indonesia," he concluded.
