Jakarta, 2 August 2024 – Chancellor of Pancasila University Prof. Dr. Ir. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, IPU. , today took the oath and inaugurated Dio Marcelino Hutauruk, and Zaki Dhaifullah Ramadhan, as Chair of the senate and Chair of the Pancasila University Student Family Supervisory Board (KMUP) for the 2023-2024 period. This event took place in the At-Taqwa Mosque Hall, Pancasila University, which was attended by the Deans, Deputy Deans, Heads of Institutions, as well as Members of the Senate, KMUP Supervisory Board for the 2023/2024 period and witnessed by the participants and invitees present.
In his remarks, the Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, IPU. conveyed that this inauguration was a very important moment, both for students and all parties present. He emphasized the important role of students in the nation's progress.
“Students are an important element of a nation's progress. To advance the nation, students need an active role in organizations. In college, we can gain knowledge, but what is more important than the knowledge itself is culture and attitudes. "You can learn this from participating in organizations like this, where you will train yourself to learn negotiation, public speaking, rhetoric and deliberation," he said.
Furthermore, the Chancellor also emphasized the role of the young generation in welcoming Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. "Indonesia will become the 4th country with the largest economy in the world after China, India and the United States in 2045. Currently, Indonesia is also a country 12th richest in the world, even though much of our country's wealth cannot be enjoyed by Indonesian citizens themselves because it is still enjoyed by foreigners. "It will be your responsibility, the younger generation, to reclaim this wealth through the competencies that you must build from now on," he added.
The Chancellor of Pancasila University closed his remarks with an inspirational message to all students present. “Those of you who hold the relay for national leadership must be great people, visionaries, and leaders who continue to implement the noble values of Pancasila. "It is not impossible that in the next few years, one of you in this room can occupy a strategic position and become a leader who can prosper the Indonesian people."
This inauguration event went solemnly, smoothly, and ended with a group photo and giving congratulations as an official sign of the start of a new term of office for the Chair of the Senate and Chair of the KMUP Supervisory Board for the 2023-2024 period.
