STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT WITH HEAD OF KMUP INSTITUTION AND HEAD OF KMUP UKM

Chancellor of Pancasila University (UP) Prof. Dr. Wahono Sumaryono, Apt. accompanied by Vice Chancellor II Ir. Kiki K. Lestari, MT. Vice Chancellor III Brigadier General Pol. (Purn) Drs. Joko Hartanto, SH, M.Sc. Deputy Rector IV Dr. Syamsurizal, MM., Head of the Student Affairs Bureau and Head of the UP General Bureau, held a friendly activity in the field of student affairs together with the Pancasila University Student Family Senate (KMUP), Chair of the KMUP Supervisory Board and Head of the KMUP Student Activity Unit, Friday (14/02) at in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of the UP Rectorate. This activity is a form of friendship and coordination between field III of the University and the academic community represented by institutional UKM together with the Senate and BP KMUP. It is hoped that with this gathering, good coordination and cooperation can be established between students and the center.

On this occasion the Chancellor also conveyed a number of things regarding the new Policy implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding the "Independent Campus" Program, according to him the Independent Campus policy would be mutually beneficial between universities and the industrial world, we are currently compiling this program and later we will incorporate it into the curriculum will be integrated with the world of work/industry to encourage graduates with the right quality so that they are in accordance with the needs of the current world of work and can improve tracer studies in the future. With this apprenticeship program for up to 3 (three) semesters, students will be able to gain better competence in companies. The industrial world also gets more benefits, because apprentice students will get enough time to understand a job in more depth, later the weight of this internship when converted into the Semester Credit System (SKS) may be around 17 to 18 credits which will likely be enforced in September 2020 and applies specifically to students in semesters 6, 7 and 8. For information, currently there are 116 UP students participating in the "Certified Student Internship Program" which has spread across 26 State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), said Prof. Wahono.
