Pancasila University's Robotics Team Qualifies for National Level

Jakarta, November 3, 2024-: A total of 25 Robotic Teams fostered by the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Pancasila University from 19 High Schools and equivalent participated in the 2024 Robothon Competition at ICE BSD, Tangerang. 

This activity was held in collaboration with Robot Explorer and Indocomtech. This robot competition is the first to be held and is expected to produce a generation that is smart in using robotics. 

In this competition, 5 superior teams were successfully selected to represent Indonesia to take part in the 2024 Robothon competition in Bangkok, Thailand, which carries the theme 'Digital Nexus'. 

Richard Lee from The National Robotics Open Competition (NROC) said that, "Robots are the learning of the present and the future. They compete using the same qualifications, the same robots so that the assessment will be more precise," 

This competition event was attended by the Chancellor of Pancasia University Prof. Dr. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, IPU, Dean of FTUP Prof. Dr. Dwi Rahmalina, MT, Head of FTUP Robotics Development Dr. Ane Prasetyowati, ST, MT and Mrs. Jully Tjindrawan as the President Director of Robot Explorer who is also a robotics activist in Indonesia. In his speech, the Dean of FTUP said that, "We are proud to be able to share knowledge with students who are enthusiastic about participating in the robotics development program at the Faculty of Engineering. In implementing this development, we are supported by 15 student trainers from the Faculty of Engineering who are selected students to teach techniques and strategies to line follower robots that have AI and metaverse capabilities."

This competition was won by SMKN 8 Jakarta (Muhammad Firas Syafiq, M. Rafly Al-Gybran) as the First Champion. The second champion was won by SMK Bina Mandiri Multimedia (Rayya Mahira, Akmal Pratama Saputra) and the third champion was MAN I Bogor (Kinza Navid Rissila, Muhammad Naufal Hafiz). In addition, the first hopeful champion was won by MAN 1 Bogor (Muhammad Hadziq, Muhammad irsyad), the second hopeful champion was SMAN 47 (Piopetra Silitonga, Hizkia Ethan Prospero Sirait), and the third hopeful champion was won by MAN 7 Jakarta (Danny Musyaffa, Dzaki Ahmad Fatihudin).
