Interest is high, these are 16 figures who will be candidates for Chancellor 2024-2028
The Pancasila University Chancellor Election Committee (PPR UP) announced the list of names of prospective Chancellor Candidates for Pancasila University (Bacarek) for the 2024-2028 UP period. As of Friday, March 1 2024 at 16.00, according to PPR UP data, 16 Bacarek names had been identified who had sent complete documents.
Data verification of the 16 Bacarek names for the 2024-2028 period includes BCR Statement of Responsibility, Guarantee of Document Veracity, Curriculum Vitae, and Personal Description.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Anis, M. Met, Chair of PPR-UP said, "The results of the selection of rectors at the initial stage carried out by PPR were very satisfying to see the great attention and interest of Bacarek, all of whom are community figures with high competence in their fields. "Unexpectedly, by the closing schedule PPR had already registered 16 potential candidates who have very good backgrounds and are public figures," said Prof. Muhmmad Anis, who was previously Chancellor of the University of Indonesia.
Prof. Anis said, "the party is not playing around in choosing the Pancasila University Bacarek for the coming period. For this reason, the PPR-UP this time not only involves education experts, psychologists, entrepreneurs and communication experts from the Senate and Rectorate, but also involves the Trustees, Supervisors and Management of the Pancasila University Education and Trustees Foundation (YPPUP). "We are looking for a Chancellor figure who is able to bring Pancasila University into a PTS that is a goal and pride for the community in seeking higher education not only in the country, but also globally," emphasized Prof. Anis who is also Chair of the YPPUP Management.

Since 2023, YPPUP has been preparing the Chancellor Election process to find the right figure. "The committee has worked hard in conducting the network," continued Prof. Anise.
