Pancasila University Accelerates Towards World Class University in 2023

Pancasila University (UP) carried out an Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) activities for the 2022/2023 academic year as many as 2,522 New Students with various levels and study programs. This PKKMB activity is carried out in a hybrid manner online and also offline with due observance of the applicable health protocols, this activity will be held for 5 (five) days from 12 to 16 September 2022.
 
Present at this activity, the Chairperson of the Education Foundation and Trustees of UP (YPP UP), Dr. (HC). Ir. Siswono Yudohusodo, YPPUP members, UP Chancellor Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno, SH., M.Sc., FCBArb., Head of Region III Higher Education Service Institute, Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani, MP, Deputy Chancellors, Deans, and Director of the UP Postgraduate School, as well as 42 students of the 2nd batch of 2022 Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) students at Pancasila University.
 
In his remarks, Prof. Edie Toet hopes that new students can learn to be highly disciplined individuals in various matters and try to graduate in 3.5 years at the earliest with a Grade Point Average score above 3. UP also has rules that must be obeyed by all UP Academics, through SK Rector No. 1188/PER.R/UP/VI/2013 concerning efforts to build a Pancasila University campus that is clean from drugs, alcohol, gambling, violence and fights in the campus environment and others. 
 
Prof. Edie Toet also conveyed various achievements and updates on achievements recently achieved by UP, including the achievement of the Study Program at UP which has 80% accredited A and is headed for Superior Accreditation, while for D3 it will be upgraded to D4 or applied, student achievements, and those that this latest is related to PMM, UP this year received 42 students from 20 campuses in Indonesia, they will study for 1 semester at UP with scientific disciplines that are in accordance with the scientific fields they took at their previous PT, we are proud to invite them today and welcome them as part of the big UP family, concluded Prof. Edie Toet in his speech.
 
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the YPP UP Trustees Dr. (HC). Ir. Siswono Yudohusodo congratulated all new students who attended and hoped that all new students could study well and finish their studies quickly here. Studying at the University is a process of preparing the provisions to respond to challenges in the future, especially as we live in a world that is increasingly integrated with interactions between countries and between nations that are increasingly intense and fast. Currently the world is growing without boundaries, with the flow of people, the flow of goods, the flow of goods, the flow of money, the flow of culture which is almost without constraints anywhere with the help of technology. With such challenges, Indonesia's Human Resources (HR) including all of you who are here, must be ready to compete in the global arena, not only compete in the country, but on the world stage, through increased knowledge, technology and skills.
 
Also present at this activity were the Heads of Region III Higher Education Service Institutions, Dr. Ir. Paristiyanti Nurwardani, MP congratulated the 2,522 new students on joining. UP is the pride of the University of LLDikti Region III because it is included in the Top 10 best tertiary institutions in DKI Jakarta, I really believe UP is ready to become a world class university, in October November and next December, we will carry out further coordination with the team from the relevant UP with the acceleration of UP and 15 other private PTs in 2023 as world class universities. Through the excellent PT management here, these new UP students will be prepared to become Indonesian leaders in the digital era and the era of society 5.0. I am very sure that from the quality of the lecturers, curriculum, MBKM activities carried out to a superior standard, UP can produce advanced and superior human resources as well. UP also stated its ability to become one of the consortia for the development of overseas Community Service (KKN) in 2023 and this is great, UP is always at the forefront and always has a superior vision, I am very sure UP will inspire Indonesia and the world, to create Human resources with the Pancasila character and in line with the government's vision, namely "Excellent Human Resources for Advanced Indonesia," said Paristiyanti.
