Pancasila University Collaborates with BPIP in Making Pancasila Values Worldwide

Tuesday 18 July 2023, Pancasila University (UP) officially cooperated with the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between UP and BPIP, which was signed directly by UP Chancellor Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno. sh. M.Si. FCBARb. with Ir. Prakoso, MM as the Deputy for Inter-Institutional Relations, Socialization, Communication, and BPIP Networks, and witnessed directly by the Chairperson of the Pancasila Education Foundation and Trustees of Pancasila University (YPP UP) Dr. (HC). Ir. Siswono Yudo Husodo and Head of BPIP Prof. Drs. KH. Yudian Wahyudi, MA., Ph.D. Present as a guest speaker at this activity Dr. Hassan Wirajuda Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (2001-2009 period) and Prof. Dr. Asvi Warman Adam, APU. from the Political Research Center of the National Research and Innovation Agency (PRP-BRIN) as well as a number of other important guests and representatives from the UP Academic Community.

In line with the vision of UP, namely "Becoming a Superior and Leading University based on the Noble Values of Pancasila". So organizing this activity is very important to do as a form of joint national commitment between UP and BPIP. This activity was preceded by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement by both parties and as a direct implementation of the collaboration between the two agencies was the activity of reviewing the Pancasila book from Indonesia for the world.

The book Pancasila From Indonesia for the World was published by BPIP which was written by Dr. Darmansjah Djumala, SE., MA. who is also the Executive Director of the Pancasila University Study Center (PSP UP). This book is proof that the values of Pancasila are not only understood and upheld by the Indonesian people but are always implemented at every opportunity for Indonesia to participate in realizing world order based on freedom, eternal peace and social justice in an effort to create world peace and the kinship of nations.

It is hoped that the signing of the Cooperation Agreement and review of this book will be the starting point for the birth of joint activities which will become a stream of Pancasila values starting from the UP Academic Community which will then be widely disseminated to the general public in the life of the nation and state, so that the noble values of Pancasila are still closely implemented in everyday life and become a real portrait of each point of Pancasila values.

With the same enthusiasm and responsibility between UP and BPIP in instilling Pancasila values, especially in the Implementation of the Higher Education Tridharma, it is also very important to continue to put forward, especially UP is engaged in education, and as a Higher Education that bears the big name of the national ideology, namely "Pancasila", then this responsibility becomes an awareness and noble intention for UP to continue to echo Pancasila.
