Pancasila University together with SMAN 109 Jakarta held a Seminar on the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students with the theme "My Trash, My Responsibility, To Guarantee Our Survival Together" which took place at the Al Muhajirin Mosque at SMAN 109 Jakarta (22/7).

This event was attended by the Marketing Director of Pancasila University Dra. Dewi Trirahayu, MM. along with the team, the Principal of SMAN 109 Jakarta, represented by the Deputy Head of Curriculum, Krisna Nugraha S.Kom, along with the teachers, Dr. Dino Rimantho, ST., MT., IPM., ASEAN Eng., Dra Umi Marwati, M.Si., Dr. Agri Suwandi, ST., MT., CIAR, IPM. as resource persons, as well as 100 students of SMAN 109 Jakarta as participants.

In his speech, Krisna Nugraha said, "We really appreciate the collaboration with Pancasila University in this activity. "Hopefully through this seminar, students of SMAN 109 Jakarta can better understand the importance of sustainable waste management for all of our future." Meanwhile, Dra. Dewi Trirahayu said, "Pancasila University is committed to supporting every initiative that can increase environmental awareness among the younger generation. "This seminar is the first step to create a generation that cares more about the surrounding environment."

The first material was delivered by Dr. Dino with the title "School Based Waste Management Program with Culture and Care for the Environment". The material explains that this school-based waste management program aims to form a culture of environmental care among students through various educational and practical activities that can be implemented in schools.

The second material was delivered by Dr. Agri with the title "Implementation of SDGs at the Faculty of Engineering, Pancasila University". It was explained that the Faculty of Engineering, Pancasila University had implemented various initiatives in order to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including waste management and the use of renewable energy.

The final material was delivered by Dra. Umi with the title "Waste Management Ecosystem for a Sustainable School Ecosystem". Waste management in schools is not only important for cleanliness and health, but also as a strategic step in creating a sustainable and environmentally friendly school ecosystem.
