Pancasila University and INTI International University, Malaysia Sign an MoU on Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education

Jakarta, 7 August 2023 – Pancasila University and INTI International University, Malaysia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, Monday, August 7 2023, at the Nusantara Hall, Faculty of Law, Pancasila University, Jakarta.

This MoU was signed by the Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Edie Toet Hendratno SHMSi., FCB. Arb., and Vice Chancellor CORE International University, Mr. Joseph Lee Yu Kuang Ph.D., and is a follow-up to the signing Letter of Intent (LOI) between Pancasila University and INTI International University, which was held in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia between the two University Leaders, on 17 March 2023.

The agreement in this MoU is a form of cooperation between the two universities in the fields of academics, research, and community service. Through this MoU, the two universities will work together on: Micro-Credential Master Classes and Short Courses on Diplomacy; Establishment of the Pancasila Diplomacy School; Exchange visits, teaching staff and student exchanges; Development and implementation of cooperation in the field of Education and research projects; Joint publication of the results of research activities; Participation in courses, seminars, trainings, conferences, organized by one; Exchange of learning materials and other information; Sharing experiences by INTI International University to get QS World Ranking; Student Career Empowerment Program (CEP), under the Independent Learning, Independent Campus (MBKM) program; Management Training for Future Young Entrepreneurs; Training on Maritime Boundary Determination; Other activities and programs mutually agreed upon by the parties.

With regard to Pancasila School of Diplomacy the two Universities have agreed to Pancasila School of Diplomacy in the early stages it can be used as a joint cooperation project which in the education system in Malaysia can be categorized as Micro Credentials Course, where the participants, when they have graduated and received a certificate, can be used to continue on to the Master's Program in Diplomacy or International Relations.

Through this collaboration between the two tertiary institutions, it is hoped that the quality of education, research and community service at the two universities can improve, as well as increasing cultural understanding between Indonesia and Malaysia.

The Chancellor of Pancasila University, said "that this MoU is an important step in enhancing cooperation between Pancasila University and INTI International University. He hopes that this MoU can benefit both universities, lecturers, teaching staff and students.”

"This MoU is a form of our commitment to improve the quality of education and research at Pancasila University. We believe that cooperation with INTI International University can help us to achieve that goal,” said the Chancellor of Pancasila University.

Vice Chancellor CORE International University, Mr. Joseph Lee Yu Kuang Ph.D. said that this MoU is a good opportunity for the two universities to work together in improving the quality of education and research. He hopes that this MoU can provide benefits for students and can increase cultural understanding between Indonesia and Malaysia.

"We believe that collaboration with Pancasila University can help us to provide quality education and research to students. We also hope that this MoU can increase cultural understanding between Indonesia and Malaysia," said Professor Joseph.

This MoU is a form of good cooperation between Pancasila University and INTI International University. This MoU is expected to provide benefits for both universities and for teaching staff, teaching staff and students.
