This event was attended by the Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, IPU., Vice Chancellor for Learning, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Prof. Dr. Ir. Arissetyanto Nugroho, MM, IPU., CMA., MSS., University Secretary, Dra. Diennaryati Tjokrosuprihatono, M.Psi., Psychologist., as well as faculty and university leaders. From Agriyaponik, the Owner of Agriyaponik, Paul Soetopo Tjokronegoro, President Director Robertus, and other leaders were present.
The activity began with a tour of the Agriyaponik facility which stands on an area of 2,500 square meters. Participants had the opportunity to witness firsthand the various innovations presented, including the production process of healthy tempeh using automatic machine technology. Superior products such as BIO premium non-GMO tempeh, mendoan tempeh, and wrapped tempeh are produced through a hygienic process with fermentation for 20-24 hours and a harvest period of 48 hours, resulting in high-quality and healthy products.
Participants were also invited to visit the greenhouse, where various modern agricultural technologies such as hydroponics, aquaponics, and aeroponics are applied to produce premium vegetables, including lettuce, pak choi, kale, tomatoes, and melons. All plants are produced with an environmentally friendly approach using a water filtration system, floating raft media, hydrostone, and natural pesticides made from liquid garlic. In addition, there are microgreens that can be harvested within 7-10 days, offering a fast and efficient agricultural solution.
Another interesting facility is the catfish and tilapia spawning pond with an innovative water filtration system, the waste of which can be used as fertilizer. In addition, there is a chicken farm that produces omega 3 eggs and golden eggs. All of these innovations are designed to create an integrated agricultural ecosystem that supports sustainability.
In his speech, Agriyaponik Owner, Paul Soetopo Tjokronegoro, conveyed the importance of collaboration in creating family and community-based food independence. “What we are doing here is building a sustainable system that allows people to learn and be independent, especially in terms of food and energy security. Food is not only to fill you up, but it must also be healthy. Through this collaboration, I am optimistic that the benefits we present can be spread widely throughout Indonesia. With Pancasila University, I am sure that many new innovations will be born that support the sustainability of the nation,” he said.
The Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, also expressed his appreciation. “This collaboration is a strategic step for Pancasila University in strengthening its contribution to national food security and village empowerment as a buffer for Indonesian food. We hope that students and academics can learn directly from Agriyaponik about relevant food innovations, not only for domestic needs, but also globally. This initiative is in line with our efforts to create a sustainable positive impact,” he said.
Through this collaboration, Pancasila University is committed to integrating cross-faculty activities, broadening students' horizons in the fields of food security, energy, and sustainability, and encouraging the birth of innovative solutions to national and global challenges.
