Greesty Finotory Swandiny, a lecturer at Pancasila University, was included in the six best young researchers in the lecturer category in the "PPI Young Researcher Award 2023" which was held on Thursday, 21 December 2023. For information, PPI or the Indonesian Research Association is a professional organization for Indonesian researchers mandated by BRIN as research development agency in Indonesia to enforce ethics, advocacy and develop researcher competency.
Researchers who are members of PPI are not limited to civil servants or state civil servants (ASN) but also private employees or non-ASN. Meanwhile, the "PPI Young Researcher Award 2023" is an award event for young researchers (maximum 40 years old) which is given in six research profession categories, namely researchers, engineers, research and engineering technicians, lecturers, nuclear technology developers, and other research professions. Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University, Prof. Syamsudin in an official release (21/12/2023) expressed his appreciation for the achievements of Greesty Finotory Swandiny.
“Greesty can be an example of an outstanding young researcher. "He is also active in the traditional medicine industry as a professional Research and Development expert, facilitator of Good Traditional Medicine Manufacturing Methods (CPOTB), and active in other activities," he said.
“Its performance supports research results applied in industry. "He already has many achievements, including products that have BPOM distribution permits, obtaining patents, producing national and international publications," added Prof. Syamsudin.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University also said that Greesty diligently participated in various scientific competitions in various championship categories at national and international events. Several of Greesty's research results, continued Syamsudin, have had an impact on the world of business and industry as well as society.
They are very proud of this achievement. He hopes that Greesty's achievements can motivate the next generation of young people to continue learning, trying and having the courage to try, especially students, in the future so that they can contribute to producing works for the nation's children.
