Pancasila University (UP) held the 2024 Outstanding Student Selection activity at the University level, on (02/04) at the UP At-Taqwa Mosque Hall, this activity was attended by the Deputy Chancellor IV, the Deans, Deputy Deans, the UP Student Family Senate, and 11 candidates were selected as UP's outstanding students. This activity takes the theme of Implementing SDG's Efforts to Increase the Golden Generation 2045 Through the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
This activity is a routine agenda organized by UP in preparation for participating in the Selection of Outstanding Students, which is a student competition organized by the National Achievement Center which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education every year. The aim is to give appreciation to the best students who are ready to become agents of change to build a better Indonesia. With a focus on Bachelor and Diploma programs.
In her speech, Deputy Chancellor IV UP, Mrs. Diennaryati, expressed her extraordinary appreciation to all students who had passed the selection at the faculty level, which later on the day the selection was carried out at the university level and it was recorded that there were 11 best student representatives from a total of 20 vocational level study programs, D3, D4, and Bachelor Degree. Congratulations on participating in this activity well, because we all believe that UP students are great students who have extraordinary abilities to take part in existing competitions. Through this activity, we are sure that all of you can make a real contribution to UP in improving achievements at both national and international levels.
Happy competition to all of you, show all the great potential you have to fight to be selected as the 2 best students who we will send to the Region III Higher Education Service Institution, after that you will be selected to compete at the national level, seriousness will bring extraordinary enthusiasm to take part in existing competitions so that through a competitive spirit it can become an extraordinary development as a form of effort to implement SDG's to improve the 2045 Golden Generation through the industrial revolution 4.0, said Mrs. Diennaryati in her speech.
As is known, this achievement will influence the ranking of the Student Affairs Ranking Management Information System (simkatmawa) and Main Performance Indicator 2, namely Students Gaining Experience Outside Campus. Apart from that, the agenda for this activity is also included in the 2024 UP Ramadhan Train activities, where this activity will also be closed by sharing Takjil/Fast Breaking Meals for UP Academic Members as well as contract employees such as cleaning service and security in the UP environment.
