Pancasila University and Indonesian Institute of Technology Agree to Increase Educational Collaboration in the Digital Era

Jakarta, October 3, 2024 – Pancasila University (UP) and the Indonesian Institute of Technology (ITI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing collaboration in the field of education. The event was held at the Pancasila University Rectorate Building and was attended by the Rectors of both institutions and their staff. 

The Chancellor of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Marsudi Wahyu Kisworo, IPU., stated that this collaboration is expected to strengthen study programs and improve the academic quality of both universities and strengthen UP's plan to open an Engineering study program. With this MoU, we hope to be able to exchange knowledge and experience, and implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education together which is beneficial to the community," he said.

Meanwhile, the Rector of the Indonesian Institute of Technology, Dr. Ir. Marzan Azis Iskandar, IPU, ASEAN Eng., stated that this collaboration will open up opportunities for students to be involved in interdisciplinary research projects. "We believe that this collaboration will have a positive impact, not only for both institutions, but also for the development of science and technology in Indonesia," he said.

The MoU covers other areas such as curriculum development, student exchanges, and joint research. Both universities hope to implement the agreed programs soon and create strong synergies in the future.

The signing ceremony ended with a friendly gathering between the two institutions, which discussed the opportunities and challenges of higher education in the digital era.
