Pancasila University and PT. Astra International Tbk – TSO – Auto2000 Hold Basic Social Media Marketing Training for Astra Automotive Sales

Jakarta, September 13, 2024 – Universitas Pancasila Courses and Training in collaboration with PT. Astra International Tbk – TSO – Auto2000 successfully held a “Basic Social Media Marketing” training at the Auditorium of the Pancasila University Postgraduate School, Central Jakarta. This training was attended by 22 participants who were Automotive Sales from PT. Astra International Tbk – TSO – Auto2000.

The activity was opened with remarks from the Vice Chancellor for Learning, Student Affairs, and Alumni of Pancasila University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Arissetyanto Nugroho, MM, IPU., CMA., MSS., who emphasized the importance of digital marketing skills in today's competitive era. He said that social media has become an effective tool in boosting sales and expanding marketing reach. In this fast-paced era and ever-evolving technology, the ability to utilize social media as a marketing tool is a necessity that cannot be ignored. By mastering digital marketing strategies, especially on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, we can increase sales effectiveness and expand marketing reach, said Prof. Aris.

This training is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of how to maximize the potential of social media as a marketing tool. With the help of instructors who are experienced in their fields, we are sure that participants will gain very relevant and applicable knowledge, which will certainly have a positive impact on your performance in the automotive marketing field, concluded Prof. Aris in his speech.

The event was also attended by the Secretary of Pancasila University, Dra. Diennaryati Tjokrosuprihatono, M.Psi., Psi., and Senior Branch Manager of PT. Astra International Tbk – TSO – Auto2000, Dr. Agustinus Miranda Widjaya, SE, SH, MM, M.Kn., who also gave a speech regarding the importance of this training in improving the competence of sales personnel in the automotive world.

This training presents two main speakers, namely Dr. Fitria Angeliqa, M.Sc. delivering material on Social Media and Digital Marketing Communication and Faridhian Anshari, SS, MA providing guidance in provoking "emotions" through digital storytelling. Both speakers provide very relevant and applicable insights regarding how to utilize platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to increase marketing effectiveness. Both speakers are practitioners in the world of communication and digital marketing, he is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Pancasila University. 

This training is expected to strengthen the ability of automotive sales personnel in utilizing social media to optimize sales and build better brand engagement. And be a good first step for Universitas Pancasila Courses and Training to continue providing training for HR development in Indonesia.
